Dental emergencies can also arise, with common situations requiring prompt treatment such as broken teeth, dental abscesses, and severe tartar build-up.
At Coastal Veterinary Services, our Ōpunake clinic is well-equipped with a dental machine. Animals with excessive tartar may require a scale and polish (cleaning), while certain dental emergencies may require teeth extractions (removal).
